QM 5.0 provides transaction as well as batch based processing. Business rules are easily implemented to address specific needs and to personalize the operation of the system. Through the use of Quick Modules Studio (QMS), the Administrator has a palette of tools available with which to create new document processing workflows, edit existing workflows, test workflows before they are in production, and deploy specific business rules – all in one location. This centralized location for creation and editing speeds up the process of defining and managing criteria for the system.
Through its thin client architecture, applications can be deployed centrally as well as in a virtual environment allowing Fairfax Software clients the ability to deploy solutions in the cloud to reduce costs. By using a common Web browser for user access, the layout and functionality is familiar to users, thus lessening the learning curve with the new QM 5.0 version. Quick Modules handles virtually any document without presorting using one common process workflow. Using the system’s Virtual Batching capabilities, our clients are not required to separate checks, forms, or other documents into different workflows.
Quick Modules is capable of processing electronic files, paper, and faxes across a common set of business rules offering consistency of the process. Quick Modules is Check 21 enabled allowing electronic presentment of checks for deposit.
Quick Modules accurately recognizes data on complex documents such as tax forms, labor wage reports, invoices, order forms and enrollment forms independent of the data’s location on the document, allowing existing documents to be within the system. Quick Modules also orients the document correctly, enhances image quality, and applies other software enhancements to ensure superior automated data capture.
Quick Modules can process multiple fax input and output streams and fax confirmations. The system provides automated fax notices and reminders until the fax it is looking for has been received by the system. Quick Modules automatically filters out unsolicited faxes such as sales promotions and menus. With its superior recognition capabilities, Quick Modules provides automated data capture of fax images in the same workflow and against the same set of business rules of other forms and processes in the system.
Quick Modules comes with Quick Modules Studio (QMS) that allows system designers to easily and graphically define systems components, set up new forms, design new transaction compositions, process data and analyze results. Quick Modules Studio, referred to as “QMS”, is a Web-based administrative tool used to manage and develop the solutions required to properly implement Quick Modules. It serves as a control dashboard for all aspects of the intricacies of Quick Modules. It is the single location for all job setup – from forms and remittance processing to security for users, test environments to designing workflows.
Designed for administrators and developers, QMS is a separate program with tools incorporated to save time and provide a technical, safe environment for creating new builds. Each “build”, in turn, becomes a Quick Modules solution.
